Spartacus Developer 4 + Years

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain dynamic front-end applications using SAP Spartacus and Angular.

• Seamlessly connect the Spartacus storefront with the SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) backend systems.

• Customize, extend, and optimize Spartacus components, modules, and services to meet business requirements.

• Translate UI/UX design mockups into responsive, accessible, and user-friendly interfaces.

• Collaborate closely with backend engineers to consume and integrate RESTful APIs and OCC endpoints.

• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives.

• Debug frontend issues, improve performance, and ensure optimal functionality across browsers and devices.

• Develop unit and integration tests to ensure robust code quality, adhering to industry best practices.

• Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in Spartacus and SAP Commerce Cloud technologies.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of professional experience with Angular (v2 and above).

• 2+ years of hands-on work with SAP Spartacus framework.

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, RxJS, NgRx, HTML5, SCSS/CSS3.

• Solid understanding of SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) and the OCC (OmniCommerce Connect) Layer.

• Demonstrated experience with responsive web design, accessibility (WCAG) standards, and cross-browser compatibility.

• Familiar with JWT-based authentication, secure API integration, and modern front-end security practices.

• Proficient with Git and collaborative version control workflows.

• Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and performance optimization skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in SAP Spartacus (if available).

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.

• Prior work in e-commerce (B2B/B2C) platforms and ecosystems.

• Knowledge of server-side rendering (SSR) with Angular and its performance implications.
