We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Automation Engineer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure product quality and performance. The role requires collaboration with developers, product teams, and other QA professionals to drive high standards of software quality.
Review and analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and constructive feedback.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks.
Create and execute load test scenarios using JMeter.
Test RESTful APIs using Postman or similar tools.
Conduct automated and manual testing to identify product defects and performance issues.
Identify, document, and track defects, and verify resolutions.
Suggest and implement solutions to identified product issues.
Collaborate with product development teams to ensure high-quality, consistent delivery.
Investigate causes of non-conforming software and recommend corrective actions.
Track quality assurance metrics, such as defect density and open defect counts.
Stay current with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in software testing.
Conduct regression testing, collect quality data, and oversee continuous improvement initiatives.
Prepare and present detailed QA reports and metrics to senior management.
B.Tech / M.Tech (Any Specialization)
MCA
Diploma (A-Level / B-Level / O-Level)
3+ years of proven experience in QA Automation.
Strong knowledge of testing methodologies: UI Testing, Automated Testing, TDD, etc.
Proficient in tools/frameworks such as Cucumber, Postman, JMeter.
Hands-on experience in programming: Java, HTML5, XML.
Solid knowledge of SQL, scripting, and web security technologies.
Familiar with both white-box and black-box testing approaches.
Experience with Agile/Scrum development environments.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
