We are looking for a Customer Success Engineer who will help customers successfully onboard and scale on the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform. In this role, you’ll work closely with customers to design technical solutions, guide onboarding processes, and ensure seamless deployment of new use cases. You’ll become a subject-matter expert on Databricks and provide strategic technical advice to maximize customer success.
Lead customer onboarding to the Databricks platform and support them in deploying new use cases.
Provide technical guidance to customers for optimal architecture and workflow decisions.
Track and report onboarding progress across multiple customer engagements.
Maintain and improve the catalog of services to ensure scalability and quality.
Mentor new team members to accelerate their onboarding and skill development.
Collaborate with hiring managers to interview and evaluate new candidates for the team.
Extensive experience in a customer-facing technical role (pre-sales, consulting, professional services, or customer success).
Strong knowledge in one or more areas:
Data Engineering (Spark, Hadoop, Kafka)
Data Science & Machine Learning (pandas, scikit-learn, HPO)
Data Warehousing (SQL, OLTP/OLAP/DSS)
Familiarity with at least one cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Solid understanding of end-to-end data analytics architecture and workflows.
Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
Nice to have: Databricks Certification.
Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
