We are looking for a driven Business Development Officer with hands-on knowledge of Income Tax, GST, and TDS return filing, ideally suited for candidates who have partially completed or dropped out from CA studies. This field-based role focuses on growing our Tax Filing Software business by engaging with SMEs and corporate clients, understanding their compliance needs, and offering suitable solutions.
As a BDO, you will be the face of our brand on the ground, responsible for end-to-end sales operations—from lead generation to customer onboarding. Your goal is to identify prospective clients, deliver personalized product demonstrations, and help them adopt the most suitable Tax Filing plans (DIY or DIFM). A strong understanding of taxation and a customer-first approach are key to success in this role.
Proactively generate leads through field visits, referrals, networking, and outbound outreach.
Conduct needs assessment to understand client challenges related to Income Tax, TDS, and GST compliance.
Provide product demos and guide clients in choosing the right filing solution based on their business type and complexity.
Maintain a thorough understanding of KDK software and updates to effectively assist clients.
Manage the entire sales funnel from prospecting to closing, and ensure timely onboarding of new clients.
Visit at least 50 unique customers (including both DIY and DIFM leads) and capture detailed profiling information.
Log daily interactions, activities, and outcomes accurately in CRM or designated tracking tools.
Field sales experience, preferably in a TaxTech or FinTech environment.
Sound working knowledge of GST, TDS, and Income Tax return filing.
Familiarity with tax filing utilities or government portals/software.
Strong soft sales and negotiation skills.
Excellent Hindi and English communication—both written and verbal.
Effective time management with the ability to plan and prioritize client visits and demos efficiently.
As this is a field-based role, the following are required:
A personal laptop or desktop for client presentations and software access.
Willingness to travel extensively for client meetings and demos.
Conveyance reimbursement is provided on a per-kilometer basis for visits.
