In this role, you will leverage your deep expertise in applied AI, generative AI, large language models (LLMs), and agent-based frameworks such as LangChain and LlamaIndex, alongside tools like TensorFlow and PyTorch, to build AI/ML-powered solutions tailored to unique customer needs. You will design robust integrations using Python, JavaScript, or similar languages, focusing on APIs, microservices, and enterprise-scale systems. Your work will directly impact business outcomes by driving AI-augmented workflow automation, analyzing complex datasets to inform decisions, and delivering end-to-end solutions into production with continuous evaluation and improvement.
Beyond technical expertise, this role demands a strong ability to communicate complex AI concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You will mentor junior engineers, foster a culture of collaboration and innovation, and guide cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business objectives. Your work will help customers maximize operational efficiency, manage AI risks, and navigate regulatory compliance, including GDPR and other frameworks.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
5+ years of backend software development experience.
3+ years delivering impactful AI/ML solutions in production, including experience in 0-to-1 product development.
Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and enterprise integration practices.
Deep understanding of AI/ML frameworks, generative AI, LLMs, and agent-based platforms.
Strong problem-solving skills, ability to navigate ambiguity, and thrive in rapidly changing environments.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and mentoring abilities.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Atlassian Intelligence, Rovo AI, or AI-powered Atlassian products.
Exposure to regulated industries (finance, healthcare).
Deploying AI solutions at enterprise scale.
Prior experience mentoring or leading engineering teams.
